This Form Of Business Offers Limited Liability Protection To Its Owners

Filed under: Storage — admin @ 8:00 am

What is a limited liability company or llc? – an llc is a legal form of business that has characteristics of both corporations and a partnership. In other words the owners of the business cannot be held fully responsible for any debts that the business occurs or actions taken on its behalf.

This form of business offers limited liability protection to its owners. – this type of business form is best suited for small businesses with that have a small number of owners and preferably just one. Well for starters the owners of an LLC are not partners or shareholders like they are in other forms of business they are members and every LLC has to have at least one member. So what are some of the basic characteristics of a Limited Liability Company? Members of an LLC cannot be held personally liable for the debts of the company. Just don’ t make the mistake of signing any documents where you provide your personal guarantee that the company will pay a bill or honor an agreement.

Insurance Payment Protection

Filed under: Moving, Storage, apartment, billing, insurance, local moving — admin @ 8:00 am

An insurance payment protection policy can help an individual protect his credit rating in case of job loss or a serious accident or illness. Depending on the coverage, such a policy may also pay off certain types of indebtedness in case of death. It seems that people are very interested in these types of policies, perhaps because of the current economic situation. So many employees are fearful about losing their jobs that it’s only natural for them to look for ways to handle indebtedness. People are worried that a loss of income will result in bills not getting paid and that this will have an adverse affect on their credit rating. Scripture says: “‘Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God’” (Leviticus 26:1).

But how many conscientious people worship at the altar of the almighty credit score? Of course, they don’t mean for the score to be an idol, but too often that is what it becomes. A person is so afraid of a drop in the credit rating that he sometimes makes poor decisions just to keep that from happening. But fear isn’t a good reason for purchasing insurance payment protection coverage.

There are three major credit-reporting companies that keep track of consumers’ credit histories. Each one has its own unique formula for coming up with a number that represents an individual’s credit-worthiness the ability to pay back loans. The formulas include such factors as income, lines of credit, and payment history. A person’s score often determines whether or not she is eligible for the best interest rates when purchasing an automobile or a house.

Commercial Moving – a Booming Industry in New York!

Filed under: Moving, Storage — admin @ 8:00 am

Moving a house turns your life up and down, though for a short period. Can you imagine the level of upheaval caused when moving your office or business?

Real estate relocation can be local (within 100 miles), inter-state, or international in nature. Regardless of the type, moving involves careful planning, packing, documentation, storage, etc. When moving to international grounds, you have to consider mundane yet important issues like transport and customs clearance. Whether you are moving commercially or domestically, single piece or with bundle of goods, involving professional expertise makes your move much simpler, efficient and stress-free.

Shifting the entire corporate office to a new physical address, even from one floor to another, is obviously more complicated. Furniture, sensitive equipment, records, office gadgets, stationery, and many other factors have to be considered. In order to ensure that that your business operations are not disrupted, your commercial move has to be extremely systematic and organized. Under such tiring situations, it becomes mandatory to hire a commercial mover, since do-it-yourself approach simply won’t work.

In Moving and Storage, Practice Makes Perfect

Filed under: Moving, Storage, moving industry — admin @ 8:00 am

When it comes to your house, car and other important, sizable investments in your life, there’s no room to mess around. For example, I once took my car to a mechanic for a tune-up. I had never heard of this guy, and his shop had only been open for a year or two. When I got my car back, there were numerous scratches on the hood, as if an inexperienced person had been too careless to remember not to leave tools on the car. Worst of all, someone forgot to replace a belt that was on its last leg. I was NOT happy when my car broke down just days later!

If you are moving, the last thing you want to do is leave your home and belongings in the hands of inexperienced, unknown movers. Though All My Sons Moving & Storage has been in Dallas for a lengthy decade, our company’s foundation goes back over four generations! We’ve been trained on the founding principles of courtesy and faithful service, improving our training program and moving business as the decades bring new innovations for the Dallas moving and storage industry.

Much of our business comes from word of mouth, and you can’t build a network of happy customers without working hard to establish your reputation of consistently great moving and storage services. Keep an eye out for our green and white moving trucks the next time you’re out on the road. Chances are, you’ll see our trucks in every part of the city, on their way to providing a safe, hassle-free move to Dallas as they have been for ten years.

Moving Tips: Don’t over-pack your boxes!

Filed under: Storage, liability protection, moving tips, organizing, packing, planning — content @ 8:00 am

When moving, make sure you don’t over-pack a box. Keep it light – preferably under 40-50 pounds (18 – 20 kilos). This will prevent injury to your back and tearing of the boxes. It will also avoid running into trouble with your moving company. Even though most Vancouver movers offer full insurance for their employees, that is not a good reason to get one of your movers injured. It makes a lot more sense to split one heavy box into two heavy boxes than to break someone’s back (or your own) with just one heavy box.

Industry seeing uptick in business
By Keith Darcé UNION-TRIBUNE STAFF WRITER

July 7, 2008

Louis and Beth Vann are just the kind of people whom San Diego moving companies have been hoping for.

Taking advantage of the three-day holiday weekend, the couple had most of their belongings loaded into a truck Saturday and moved from an apartment in University Heights to the house they bought a few miles away in North Park.

The real estate slump has kept many moving trucks idle for the past year and a half, but business has picked up considerably in recent weeks, said Steve Weitekamp, president of the California Moving and Storage Association. Link

You’ve done your homework and got a great moving quote for the move part. You also arranged to have your car transported and relocated. Now you realize that the hard part of moving to a new community and school is producing stress and anxiety for your children and family. Moving away from friends, familiar surroundings and being introduced to a new school is always a difficult situation. The cause of stress can vary according to the age of the children. Pictures Serve as a Reference

Filed under: Cleaning, Moving, Storage, crating, furniture, moving tips, organizing, packing, planning — content @ 8:00 am

If your household goods are going into storage or will in some way be unavailable to you it’s a good idea to take pictures of your furniture, bedspreads, lamps, area carpets or anything you want to shop for drapes, blinds carpeting or paint before you move in the new home, and it’s very helpful to have these colors available in snapshots rather than trusting them to memory.

Furniture/Unusually Large Pieces of Furniture

Filed under: Moving, Storage, crating, furniture, moving tips, organizing, packing, planning — content @ 8:00 am

Unusually large pieces of furniture, such as a baby grand piano, may require and extra step in this process. In addition to drawing the piece of furniture to scale for your room plot, you can cut a pattern from an old bed sheet for it .  Lay the sheet on the furniture and cut around the edge to give you the pattern.  You can easily carry the cutout sheet with you as the pattern.  You can easily carry the cutout sheet with as you do your house shopping and lay the fabric on the floor of any home you are considering.  In this way you will have a visual conception of the space the piece will consume.

Room Plots 3

Filed under: Moving, Storage, furniture, moving tips, organizing, packing, planning — content @ 8:00 am

Don’t  neglect this exercise.  You may be tempted to put this off because it takes a fair amount of time. But on moving day, you will be amazed at how much time and energy you saved.  By having furniture drawn on a room plan and having the plan in an appropriate room, your move will proceed with a much greater speed and ease. ( it also helps to tape a number or name to each room door.)  When every thing’s in place, save these room plots, just as you did the furniture pieces.  If you want to rearrange the room later, you’ll be happy you saved them.  And if you ever move again you will be glad you have them.

Planning a Garage Sale

Filed under: Cleaning, Moving, Storage, moving tips, organizing, packing, planning — content @ 8:00 am

A garage sale is a good way to clear your present home of unwanted articles before they are packed and moved to the new home. The motto is “One person’s junk is another mans treasure.” just don’t sell the garage. Timing: Begin by picking a convenient weekend, preferably one when you will have some help, as the endeavor requires several people to manage it well. It is advisable to conduct a sale with a friend or several friends. Multiple family sales are a super way to share the work and the newspaper advertisement costs. Multiple sales also provide a greater variety of goods and turn out to be a lot more fun.

Use it or Lose it

Some people have trouble getting rid of things because they worry they may need or want these things someday. One way to reduce the stress of deciding what you can throw out is to put the items in a question into a box and set the box aside. After a week or two, pull the box out and take a look at each of the items. Did you need it or miss it? Will you ever need it? Or is it time to part company?

Use it or lose it 2

If you’re a saver and you haven’t pared down in a while, start this process early. Don’t wait till the last couple of weeks before the move when you’ll be busy with so many other things you won’t be able to spare the time.  Sure, a professional organizer would probably be able to whip through your house in a couple of days; but it’s different when everything belongs to you.  These are more than inanimate objects- they represent memories as well.  Give yourself time to sort through them.  Invite a friend in to help you if you need an impartial eye.
